"I got my first BFP last week on CD22, 9 DPO and 6 days before AF was supposed to arrive. It’s crazy to think that a few short months ago, I had no idea when in my cycle I ovulated, what a luteal or follicular phase was or how to detect CM. I saw the Instagram post from BIP Jade about Ava and since I knew my husband and I wanted to start trying for a baby end of a summer, I figured I’d give Ava a shot (and my insurance covered the cost!). I started Ava in May when I went off BC for the first time in 15 years, and I let Ava get to know me, before TTC, while my body adjusted to no pills and geared up to actually ovulate.
